Cinecittà World is a theme park in Rome that forms part of the famous Cinecittà film studio. The park was built on the former site of the Dinocittà film studios, owned by film producer Dino De Laurentiis, with many of the sets from that site being reused for the new attractions.
The six themed areas

There are six themed areas in the theme park. The "Cinecittà World" area, which shares its name with the park itself, is inspired by a main street in 1920s Manhattan and thus fits perfectly with the film "Even Angels Eat Beans". The second area is known as "Spaceland", where everything revolves around science fiction, a genre in which Bud Spencer also felt at home with his alien sidekick. The third area is simply called "Roma" and is modelled on ancient Rome. Bud Spencer and Terence Hill also starred in films set here, including "Hannibal" and "Carthage in Flames". The fourth area is "Adventureland", designed as a jungle adventure and thus a perfect fit for films such as "All the Way, Boys", "Two Missionaries" or "Banana Joe". The fifth area is sure to set Spencer and Hill fans’ hearts racing, as this is the "Far West" section, where cowboys rule the roost in the Western town. Here, you can really feel like Trinity and Bambi. The sixth area opened in 2019 and is called "Aqualand". Here, everything revolves around the theme of water.
The shows
As well as the attractions, Cinecittà also hosts a variety of shows. There is a gangster show on the streets of "Cinecittà World", a comedy show about horror film effects, a stunt show in the style of "The Fast and the Furious", encounters with the Transformers and dinosaurs, and a Wild West show. And, of course, during the Bud Spencer tribute weekend, there will also be performances of the new Western show "Four Fists and a Gentleman".
Restaurants and shops
Throughout the park, a variety of restaurants – such as the Saloon, Ristorante Charleston and the Jurassic Bar – ensure that no one goes hungry. Souvenir hunters will also find plenty to enjoy, with a total of six themed shops just waiting to be explored.
