Fool Moon beim Spencerhill Festival 2020 mit bei

The band was founded in Szeged in 2001 and since then has released 7 albums, often collaborating with other artists of the Hungarian music scene. At the moment the band is composed of five guys with strong voices: Tamás Mészáros, Gábor Molnár, Bence Vavra, Barnabás Wodala and Miklós Németh. Some of the fans might know the first of these since he was also the frontman of the Spencer Hill Magic band until 2014.

In addition to their own compositions they also do covers of Hungarian pop songs like in their first album "Stars", but they also know international hits. They have already released cover versions of music stars like Sting, Eric Clapton, Bruno Mars or Micheal Jackson. In 2012 they released the first Hungarian song of their self-invented genre "A cappella Pop", "Kettesben jó".

They were also the first a cappella group to compete in the Hungarian preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest, but unfortunately they only came second and just missed out on the international show. However, their song "It Can't Be Over" caused a stir in the Hungarian media and drew attention to the a cappella genre.

Not to be missed: this year you can expect a first-class a cappella version of all your favourite pop-style movie songs. The Fool Moon will make their debut on stage at our festival on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 September 2021.
